Although I make most of my finished artwork in Procreate, I do start them in my sketchbooks. With pages and pages of sketches. But any scrap of paper will do! Receipts, napkins anything I can get my hands on I guess. There is something so freeing about not having to worry about ruining my brand new sketchbook! As you can probably tell I love me a Leuchtturm 1917 notebook in a rainbow of colours. At the end of the year I get my washitape out and stick all the scrap-, receipt- and napkin-sketches in my sketchbook so all of this years sketches can live happily together.
